Feb 7th 2005, The scenic community of Gig Harbor Washington has anew contemporary art gallery to add to its already vibrant art community - Fire-N-Light.

At its opening - Fire-N-Light represents 10 artists from as far north as Everett and Whidbey Island to as far south as Raymond on Wilipa Bay.

Billing itself as "A Gallery of Contemporary Arts" the artworks that are for sale or corporate rentals are themed in that they must fall into the categories of "flamed, fused, fired, forged, furnaced, filigreed... or photographed" i.e. created with either "Fire" or "Light".

Fire-N-Light CEO / Managing Artist -Patrick Scanlon said on the night, "I couldn't believe the response! We had dozens of people (75-80 attended) out in the restaurant section of The Rose (where the gallery is located) and even some who were peering in through the window just to get a look at the unique pieces we have on display.

We are looking forward to the coming Summer season, but to also working with our clients and interior designers from around the Seattle/Olympia areas to not only sell the works in the gallery, but to also take part in unique and challenging commissions.
